Heavy Duty Line Winder Kit

  • Accept big game reels up to 80 sized Penn and Shimanos.
  • Is infinitely adjustable and versatile.
  • Will work with bass reels, fly-reels, salt & fresh water bait casting and level-wind reels.
  • The bulk spool holder will hold bulk spools up to 8 ½" wide.
  • Will accept most corded/collared power drills.
  • Will break down for storage and transport, not counting the board all other parts will fit in a tool box.
  • Has a variable speed foot switch for hands free control and safety.
  • Is relatively inexpensive compared to the professional store winders.
  • An analog line counter is an available option.
  • All aluminum and plated steel parts.
  • Various base platform materials available.
  • Base platforms come unfinished so you can customize it yourself.

    Recommended Drill Motors The following drills have been found to work the best in filling spectra onto a reel. The amp rating is important to match up with the foot switch. The foot-switch is rated at 6 amps. Milwaukee #0234-6 1/2" 5.5amp 0-850rpm

    Makita #DP4700 1/2" 0-550rpm
    Makita #DP6302H 1/2" 6.5amp 0-550rpm
    Craftsman 1/2", vari speed, trigger lock, model #315.101100 5.5amp
    Craftsman 1/2", vari speed, trigger lock, #315 101110 6amp

    For winding mono, any lower cost drill will work just fine.
