Perko Flushing Raw Water Strainer

This ruggedly constructed bronze sea strainer is setup to easily flush the cooling circuit with freshwater by attaching a garden hose size flushwater fill and turning a valve. Fresh water flushes your inboard or generator simply and easily. Uses standard Perko strainer repair parts.

Handle indicates flow direction. Top casting removes easily for basket cleaning. Reversible bulkhead mounting option. Smooth acting, low torque ball valve. Can act as an emergency bilge pump. Internal cam seals fresh water intake during normal (through strainer operation). Optional use of fresh water intake creates a permanent easy to use installation.
